Beautiful night::
Toronto

There is something beautiful about the simplicity of life…

When we observe and appreciate the beauty it holds, all of a sudden our problems become a smaller…

I guess what i’m trying to say is the more we realize how simple life can be, the more we will focus on the positives and not the negatives…

A friend of mine and I saw this one day while walking downtown Toronto, just observing the city.

Seeing this started an overall project that we are in the process of creating.

In order for there to be an overall revolution, it has to start in our minds…

It begins with the way we speak, the people we associate with, and the things we allow into our minds…it all starts with a #revolutionofconsciousness

Janelle Monae Concert, TD Jazz Festival 2012

What an amazing time where people of all cultures, ages, and religions could unite and appreciate the one thing we have in common….art.

Niagara Falls (2010)

Falling in love all over again…

Picked up this planner…was more intrigued by the outside than the inside…

I guess this is the one case where that’s ok…

In all other situations, don’t judge any book by its cover.

The bridge where we talked and talked…

began to fall in love as we walked and walked…

you had my heart from the start…

and now we’ve united not just our love, but our art.

Poetry is…

Concrete Paths

Walking down the concrete paths
She found a paper stuck between the cracks
Opened it and it was dated Aug 16
And remembered the date suddenly
She remembered a love she had back then
To a man that opened up her soul and stayed within
She’s stopped in the middle of the sidewalk just frozen in time
“Sorry ma’am, I’m just lost in my mind..”
The lady rushed by and almost knocked her down
You see when your in love you can’t hear or see around
People brush by and mutter rude things
As she stands there and reminisces on those times
Times when he knew her every word
And with the blink of an eye he would protect her from hurt
Those days are like concrete paths
Trampled by the feet of those walking by
Only a date vaguely scattered in her mind….don’t cry.
She wishes she could jump and do things differently
But what’s done is done
Just one picture and two memories

Blind

It’s sad when someone changes and can’t see
You’re far from the person you used to be
And far from the person you wanted to become
You’ve closed yourself out and your spirit has become numb
Your heart is in a mess and you can’t forgive
The ones that have helped you wake up and truly live
I watched you blossom into a beautiful design
But as the seasons changed so did the fibers of your mind
The pure thoughts of love you once possessed
Became a stony path worn down into dust
You see, when you forgive it releases you, not me
When we forgive someone we can finally breathe
Every word she says you hold it deep inside
Into a place in your heart the sun can’t reside
No light has been able to find its way
Into this dark place you have chosen to stay
There’s a place where freedom lies…
It’s when you sit down and look inside
You’ll realize that love is right there
And to find that joy you’re looking for you don’t have to go far.

"Out of my mind it spills to the pen…into the hearts of those standing in.."

Don’t get stuck on one path…there are infinite ways to reach your destination…<3
